When I discovered damage to a solid cherry crib that I had just sold I called Tom’s Furniture Repair. I needed to get the piece back promptly but still required a top quality repair. Tom did not disappoint. I had the crib back in a couple of days and the repairs were outstanding. I could not find the spots where the damage had been.
My client was very happy with the crib that they received and even emailed me to express their satisfaction with the piece. I was very happy with the quality of work that I received from Tom’s Furniture repair and I will definitely use them again whenever I have a damaged item that needs repair.

Tom's Furniture is the only place I will take any of my furniture pieces when they are in need of repair or restoration. Tom has worked on many pieces of furniture for me over the past 20+ years and I have been delighted with the results of each and every piece. Many of the items Tom has worked on were pieces I picked up at home or garage sales and were damaged (read broken). Some involved broken or missing carved work. (Many times my husband thought I was buying kindling wood!) Tom was able to not only fix these items but also
made new, detailed carved pieces to replace the ones that were missing. The added/repaired work was seamless and the beauty of each piece of furniture really shined through! Tom’s prices and craftsmanship make it worthwhile to invest in repairing your furniture. He is the only person I recommend to my friends when they are looking to have their furniture refinished.

Furniture rescued from dog chews and paint splatter

Tom’s furniture, in Cleveland, Ohio, restored an old bedroom set for us that was not only chewed on by a dog, but the dog’s owner also dripped and dropped paint on the dresser, bureau and end tables. He worked closely with me, by email, as I live in the state of Virginia. He was attentive, responded quickly, gave me a fair estimate and picked up and delivered the furniture in a one week time frame. The furniture looked brand new. He had hand finished all the wood, hand stripped the stain and then
re-stained it to the exact color. My real estate agent was so impressed, she had him repair a chair for her. I would recommend Tom’s furniture highly and will continue to use him for any future repairs. Thanks, Tom.
